2015 Economic Scorecard

Take a look at the 2015 Economic Scorecard that was released to the attendees of the 15th Annual Economic Forecast Conference. The 2015 booklet is our 5th annual scorecard and will give insight into which communities have progressed or regressed in our rankings over the past five years.

If you are unfamiliar with the scorecard, it is an objective, data driven document that examines 24 indices and ranks nine regions on their scores. Indices are broken into five different categories ranging from economic activity to quality of place while still providing an overall ranking of the regions and comparing them to the national average.

The nine examined regions represent parts of five states but we have put a special emphasis on the four regions of the Northern Sacramento Valley, including the Tri County Region, Redding Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA), Yuba City MSA, and Sacramento MSA. The other examined regions are Medford MSA, Reno MSA, Boise MSA, Portland MSA, and Fresno MSA.
